Ingredients For Palak Paneer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First wash the spinach leaves and then blanch in hot water for a few minutes. Again wash with cold/iced water. Make a smooth paste in a grinder.Make tomato puree.
  • 2. Shallow fry paneer cubes in oil for a few minutes.
  • 3. Heat the oil or butter in a pan. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon. Allow it to crackle. Add minced garlic, chopped onion(optional), tomato and chilli. Saute til it gets mushy.
  • 4. Add palak paste. Add all the remaining spices and water as needed. Stir and cook for a few minutes. Add paneer cubes. Cook till it becomes thick.
  • 5. Add lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves..It's ready. Add fresh cream. Serve with roti/paratha/naan/rice.......
