Ingredients For Sev usal recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl, mix red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt to taste, black salt, gram flour, garam masala.
  • 2. In a pan heat oil, add cumin seeds , saute chopped onion 1 and 1/2 cup, garlic for 10 minutes.
  • 3. Add ginger green chillies paste saute it
  • 4. Now add the above mixed masala of step 1 of bowl to this pan and saute everything well for 5-7 minutes.
  • 5. Now add water and let everything boil well for 30 minutes.
  • 6. Now switch off the flame and let this mixture merge well for an hour ,cover the pan.
  • 7. After an hour, heat the usal again, add boiled white peas boil everything well for 20 minutes again.
  • 8. Now lastly do tempering of oil and red chilli powder and squeeze 1 and 1/2 lemon to this usal.
  • 9. Mix all well.
  • 10. Serve this usal with garnish of chopped onion 1/2 cup with gathiya and bread.
