Be careful while roasting the wheat flour on slow flame by continuously stirring, otherwise it turns black soon .

Ingredients For Strawberry nutty panjiri tarts recipe

Methods
  • 1. 1) For tart take flour, condensed milk, sesame seeds , cardamom powder and butter in a bowl and mix well .
  • 2. 2) Add little water , mix well and make dough.
  • 3. 3) Divide the dough in equal portions.
  • 4. 4) Apply little ghee in tart mould and dust some flour and place one portion of dough and press gently around the sides of mould.
  • 5. 5) prick all over the tarts with the help of a fork.
  • 6. 6) make all tarts in similar manner.
  • 7. 7) preheat the oven at 180c for 6-8 minutes and place the tart mould in preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  • 8. 8) For panjiri heat ghee in a pan , add Gond and fry till it’s opened, remove in a mixing bowl.
  • 9. 9) in same pan , add makhane and fry till crisp , remove in same bowl and keep aside.
  • 10. 10) add 1 tbsp ghee in same pan , add all nuts , melon seeds , mix well and sauté for 1 minutes and keep aside.
  • 11. 11) Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan , add wheat flour and sauté on slow flame till brown .
  • 12. 12) Remove in bowl and keep aside.
  • 13. 13) meanwhile grind makhane and Gond coarsely and add to roasted wheat flour.
  • 14. 14) add sautéed nuts and mix well .
  • 15. 15) For strawberry compote heat water in a pan , add sugar, cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, ajwain, mix well and cook till syrup is thick.
  • 16. 16) Add strawberries, mix well and cook till strawberries r soft and mixture gets thick .
  • 17. 17) Meanwhile remove tarts from oven and keep aside.
  • 18. 18) Remove some strawberries for garnish and add rest in wheat flour mixture and mix well . Add little powder sugar if required.
  • 19. 19) Add ghee and mix well .
  • 20. 20) Take the tart , fill panjiri on it , garnish with strawberries, pistachio and silver balls and serve .
