Ingredients For Aloo Paratha

Methods
  • 1. Add whole wheat flour in a container
  • 2. Add gram flour and ghee to a bowl. Mix well and form a crumb like mixture.
  • 3. Add water as required and knead a soft dough. Cover with a muslin cloth and set aside for 20 minutes or till in use.
  • 4. Add oil to the dough and knead a little till its absorbed.
  • 5. Add boiled potatoes in another container now add
  • 6. onion
  • 7. green chilli
  • 8. fresh coriander
  • 9. salt
  • 10. coriander powder
  • 11. chilli powder
  • 12. cumin powder
  • 13. garam masala
  • 14. dried fenugreek leaves and amchur powder. Mix well
  • 15. Divide the prepared dough into equal portions
  • 16. and form small lemon sized balls.
  • 17. Roll them into flat disc with a rolling pin and add the prepared stuffing in the centre.
  • 18. Join the ends and form a dumpling
  • 19. remove the excess dough and roll back into a disc.
  • 20. Heat a tawa
  • 21. add the prepared paratha and roast on both sides for 30 seconds each
  • 22. flip over and brush with ghee
  • 23. flip over and roast till brown spots appear.
  • 24. Garnish with cubes of butter and serve hot with yogurt and pickle.
