Ingredients For Paneer butter masala Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Cut paneer into cubes and put in water.
  • 2. Soak cashews and poppy seeds in warm water for 30 minutes and make a smooth paste.
  • 3. Blend all the whole masalas.
  • 4. Cut onions , tomatoes and green chilli thin and lengthwise.
  • 5. Heat a heavy bottom wok. Add oil and butter both.
  • 6. Add all the dry masalas. Stir a little. Add ginger garlic paste.
  • 7. Stir for 1 minute. Add onion and chilli . Cook till it gets pink . Add tomatoes.
  • 8. Cook for sometime. Tomatoes must turn mushy.
  • 9. Add salt , red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Mix well.
  • 10. Add cashew and poppy paste. Saute really well.
  • 11. Put off the flame and wait for masala to cool down completely.
  • 12. Transfer the masala in a blender and blend till it becomes super smooth.
  • 13. Heat 1 spoon butter in the same wok. Transfer the gravy and now add water for the desired consistency.
  • 14. Cook for 2-3 minutes and add malai or cream and stir continuously. Add kasoori methi.
  • 15. At last add paneer cubes and put off the flame.
  • 16. Transfer into serving bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves and drizzle of cream.
