Methods
  • 1. Grind coconut with sambar powder &dry red chillies & tamarind pulp into smooth paste an keep aside.
  • 2. Soak toor dal for sometime. Then in the cooker add ghee , fry mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chillies an let it crackle.
  • 3. Then add chopped onions, fry for sometime, then add tomatoes . Keep stirring till oil comes out.
  • 4. Then add the vegetables (carrot, beans, peas) an fry for sometime.
  • 5. Then add the ground masala mix well then add the toor dal, broken wheat an water an salt an pressure cook it for 2 whistles an off the gas.
  • 6. In another bowl add chopped potatoes, deep fry it.
  • 7. Then in a kadai add little oil, fry green chillies, coriander leaves, curry leaves an add the fried potatoes an mix well.
  • 8. Then add turmeric powder, dhanya powder, amchur powder an mix well.
