Ingredients For HYDERABADI MUTTON DUM BIRYANI RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Heat clarified butter in a pan.
  • 2. Add whole garam masala and fry for a few seconds.
  • 3. Add sliced onion and mutton pieces and saute for 4 - 5 minutes.
  • 4. Add ginger garlic paste and salt and mix well.
  • 5. Add water and cook in a low flame for 30 minutes.
  • 6. Soak rice for half an hour and strain it.
  • 7. Bring the water to boil,add green chilly,cumin seeds,one tbsp clarified butter,salt and rice make half done rice.
  • 8. Soak the saffron in hot milk.
  • 9. Heat the pan add saffron milk.
  • 10. Evenly spread the half done rice and fried onion,coriander and mint leaves and mutton to form at least two layer.
  • 11. Add cinnamon powder and cover the lid.
  • 12. Tightly cover the pan and cook 7 - 8 minutes
  • 13. Add kevra water before serving.
