Ingredients For Idli disk recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl, take semolina , add curd to it mix it keep aside for 20 minutes
  • 2. Then add water to it ,salt and oil 2 tbsp mix well keep aside for 10 minutes
  • 3. Meanwhile make stuffing of potato filling in a pan heat oil , add mustard seeds,let it pop then add ginger green chillies paste
  • 4. Now add chopped onion, curry leaves,coriander leaves,saute everything for 10 minutes
  • 5. Now add potatoes boiled mashed, lwvadd red chilli powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder,salt,amchur powder mix well
  • 6. Cook sabji for 5 minutes ,cover the pan,stuffing is ready after 5 minutes
  • 7. Now prepare,preheat the steamer on high flame for ,10 minutes
  • 8. Meanwhile add eno to semolina bowl
  • 9. Mix well ,Grease the glass
  • 10. Now make cylindrical shape roll of potato stuffing
  • 11. In a greased glass fill semolina stuffing half glass ,place potato cylindrical stuffing roll in it,again fill glass with semolina stuffing
  • 12. Now place the glass in steamer and steam.this idli for 15 minutes on high flame
  • 13. Later on remove the glass from steamer then unmould the idli from glass,cut it into slices
  • 14. Do oil tempering on it,serve it with coriander chutney
