Recipe Notes

Don't open the cover immediately after baking the cake. The sudden temperature chane can affect the cake, then the cake will not be fluffy.

Ingredients For Orange side-view cake recipe

Methods
  • 1. Add all dry ingredients and sieve. Keep it aside.
  • 2. Add orange juice, butter, essence, curd and give it a good mix. Now slowly add dry mixture.
  • 3. By 3portion, add this mix and mix it properly.
  • 4. Just make sure, no lump is there and no need to over mix it.
  • 5. Take a deep bottom pan and place a stand inside it. Preheat it on medium flame for 5minutes.
  • 6. By this time take a heat safe metal bowl and brush butter on inside walls. Place orance slices on the wall and pour the batter inside it .
  • 7. Tap it for 3-4times and place it carefully inside the preheated pan. Cover it on low flame and cook for next 50min-1hr.
  • 8. After 1hr switch off the gas and wait for next 2hrs. Let it cool down.
