1.
Wash and soak daliya as well as dal of your choice separately for 30 minutes.

Chop all the vegetables finely and keep them aside.

In a pressure cooker add ghee. Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick and dried red chili whole. Let them splutter. Next add mustard seeds and jeera. Let it splutter too.

Add the soaked daliya and saute it on medium heat for 1 minute. Now add the dal and saute it well for 1 minute. Then add all the chopped vegetables and mix everything well. Saute for another 1 minute.

Now put the flame on low and add all the dry spices. Mix everything well and then add water. Water should be 1 inch above the daliya.
6.
Pressure cook it for 2 whistles on medium flame and let the pan get depressurized on its own.
7.
Top it up with chopped coriander and serve hot with a dash of lemon in it.
