We can also add red chilli powder instead of green chilli paste.by skipping garlic one can make its Jain version of no onion no garlic.

Ingredients For Lilva Kachori Recipe

Methods
  • 1. For making dough take a mixing bowl add maida , corn flour,salt,carom seeds and mix well.
  • 2. Now add oil and mix it to give crumble like texture.
  • 3. Adding ice cold water gradually knead a dough.keep closed and allow to rest.meanwhile make stuffing.
  • 4. Take a bowl add boiled and mashed potatoes,boiled pigeon pea, finely chopped green garlic, ginger chilli paste,chat masala,garam masala, coriander powder,black salt, sugar,lemon juice, chopped coriander leaves.
  • 5. Mix these all ingredients very well and stuffing is ready.
  • 6. Make small balls out of stuffing.
  • 7. Now take dough make small balls and roll poories.then put ball in it and by giving shape of kachori cover the stuffing nicely with poori.
  • 8. Fry kachoris in oil at medium flame till golden in colour.
  • 9. Serve these lilva kachori with dates tamarind chutney or green chutney as per choice.
