Ingredients For Punjabi Style Chicken Masala Fry Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First marinate the chicken with turmeric powder curd and salt and keep it for 30 minutes.
  • 2. In a kadai add 1 tbsp oil add zeera, bay leaf, cinnamon stick, black cardamon, green cardamon, black pepper corns, saute for a minute. Now add onions saute for 4 minutes, add garlic and ginger and saute for 3 minutes, allow the masala to cool and transfer to a mixing jar and make a paste if required add just 2 to 3 tbsp water.
  • 3. In the same kadai add 4 tbsp oil add paste saute for 2 minutes add tomato puree mix well and cook for 3 to 4 minutes add kashmiri red chilly powder regular red chilly powder and coriander powder mix well and cook for 3 minutes. Now add marinated chicken and mix well with the masala.
  • 4. Now cover the kadai and cook on high flame for 10 minutes after 10 minutes mix chicken add glass of water salt to taste and mix well and cover the kadai and cook on low flame for 30 minutes.
  • 5. After 30 minutes open the kadai add kasuri methi and amchur powder mix again and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Your Punjabi Chicken Masala Fry is ready to be served.
